I am the co-founder of MamaLingua. A company focused on creating resources for families to help them achieve Spanish or English as a second language. Earlier this year, we launched our first language learning app specifically for parents learning Spanish or English with their kids. Our app is a curated listed of relevant words and phrases said during daily routines with children such as bathing, eating, changing, or playing. Our app is organized by these same routines and activities therefore relevant, repetitive, and immersive. The app goes both ways (Español - Inglés and English - Spanish) which means you can search for words in English or Spanish. The goal for this app was to give parents a starting point, a foundation to begin learning a second language with their kids. The best part, the app includes text, an easy to read phonetic system, and an audio clip to help with pronunciations.
