Amy Cox

Innosphere
Executive /SAGE Advisor
Greater Denver Area
Amy has over a decade of business operational experience ranging from bootstrap tech startups to nonprofits both in the US and UK. She is a holistic thinker who integrates innovation, critical thinking and collaboration to solve complex problems and build dynamic teams.

Amy moved to the US in 2007 after several years of providing leadership and tactical support for homeless and substance abuse programs in the UK. During her time in London she collaborated with key government and public stakeholders to create an innovative approach to end the cycle of drug use and the negative effects from the criminal justice system. Amy successfully lead a team that reduced the number of people sleeping on the streets by 70%. In 2009 she serendipitously became involved in her first technology startup and has been a self-confessed startup geek ever since! Currently she is advising early stage companies through Innosphere's SAGE & Executive programs.

After years of being immersed in the startup world, Amy understands that it takes more than an amazing product or idea to be successful. Investing in the people around you and building a strong ecosystem is the key to truly thriving as a company and having fun.

In addition to her extensive startup experience, Amy loves long distance hiking and traveling. She and her husband took a sabbatical in 2005 and thru- hiked the Appalachian Trail before backpacking around the globe.

Amy currently lives in Boulder County where she can be found hiking, drinking coffee and being a mom.
