Momtrepreneur: Having It All and Other Modern Myths | 8:00 - 9:30 AM

Moms, we start things, like families and businesses. We make things, like movements and babies. We work around the clock: starting the day as the CEO of the kids moving to the paid job as CEO and then when that day is done we return to our non-paying job as mother. Most of us were told we could do it all, have it all. We've tried to have it all, often at the costs of our healthy, our relationships, and our professional goals. This panel is about telling the truth about our seemingly glamours lives, messes and all. About the role we each play in creating the professional world that we want to inhabit and what we inevitably sacrifice to do that.

Austin Startup Week is supported in part by Capital FactoryTechstarsGalvanize, and Janik Vinnakota LLP. If you see someone from their teams, give them a hug and hi-five!
